Object Description
Title | Scenic Grandeur on the Inside Passage |
Caption (front) | 13-Scenic Grandeur on the Inside Passage, Alaska |
Caption (back) | For some thousand miles, the Inside Passage to Alaska extends from Seattle to Skagway. It is the longest and most sheltered scenic ocean highway in the world. So subtle is its betwitching rugged beauty that it has acquired the enchanting name of "The Lovers' Lane of hte Seven Seas". Winding through deep, fjord-like passages where mountains rise sheer from the water's edge, and threading among fairylands of islands, the entire passageway holds one in deep fascination. |
